Anyone ever refrigerated fruits?

I ask because the only times i've gotten more then a head change from my shrooms is when I've eaten fresh. So will ziplocking them and refridgerating them preserve them fresh?
Drying them has not been good it seems. My dehydrator is not adjustable and goes over 140 degrees F.. That cant be good right? I think this goes beyond genetics because I've eaten 10g dried and I've been more messed up on beer and weed..

If you are somewhat mechanical, open your dehydrator and disconnect the heating element. Or, you could use a fan and some desiccant. They don't last very long in the refrigerator. Although, that's better than the freezer...

Put them in a paper bag (not a ziplock) if you want to keep them fresh. Plastic will help them mold quicker. They won't too long if you don't dry them, though.

The low heat from a food dehydrator probably won't hurt your mushrooms much, if it all. Do a search on it and make your own decision, but my food dehydrator (Nesco) doesn't have a temperature setting and all my shrooms have turned out fine.
Personally, the very minimal potential loss of potency far out weights the risk of having a bad mold grow on your mushies. Some mushies are just more potent than others, it happens. Also, were the 10g you ate cracker dry? If they won't snap like a cracker, then they're not completely dry.

Its happened every time though. 5 flushes and I've eaten more every time and its been a joke every time. I dont get it. I've eaten as much as 10g dried . ..

Do you regularly take any prescription medication? Especially something for depression, anxiety, or panic attacks?
If you do, and depending on what it is, it can definitely affect your ability to trip.
