An extra jar

I have this one odd jar out of fully colonized wbs. Its only a pint so I dont see the point of casing it, but I dont want it to go to waste. I was wondering if I could just let it join into one big mass than birth it into the same chamber as my cakes.
Im wondering will this fruit properly, or just be a waste?

Bury it outside.

Use it for a G2G, get some more spawn jump started.

I agree. No such thing as an "extra" spawn jar. G2G; easy, quick, extremely satisfying.

Hey that's a good idea. I'm going to have a half jar left over myself, why not use it to experiment with G2G?
Good thinking.

I have 30 jars knocked up currently for some monotubs in august. This jars is just a leftover jar from the g2g batch and I dont see the point in have more jars set up as I will never have enough space for it all.

I eventually had about around 50 jars doing G2G.. It all started with 1 jar.. just check all jars to make sure u dont have contams. i spread 1 contamed jar into 10 other jars and screwed up my G2G cycle. 1 jar can make 10 jars though which is pretty sweet! goodluck! it works great!

or make a LC...just read a tek and sorry I'm not posting it with this post, but will find it and edit.
You shoot sterile H2O into the grain jar, shake it up, suck up the mycelium ladened H2O for short storage or spreading the love to other grains...
Not sure which one is easier, less prone to contams...but I've heard G2G's may have difficulty with success....thoughts?

You need to be careful of contaminates, as the jar lid is actually opened for a second to add the spawn grain. But if you use a good sterile technique you should be fine!
