Did I Make A Boo-Boo???

I have a few PF style jars colonizing in a small closet. The jars are in a small plastic tote(uncovered)and the tote in inside of a much bigger cardboard box to block any excess light. There is a small heating pad underneath the box. Last night it got a little chilly with the AC on, so I turned the heating pad on low. This morning when I went to check on the jars some of them had liquid on the bottom. I turned the jars over(wide-mouth down) and the liquid seems to have drained back into the cake. Could this liquid be from the cake getting too hot or are they contaminated? The cakes look fine now but I just wanted to know if this is anything I should throw my cakes out for. They are about 95%25 colonized and I hope I didnt ruin anything. This is my first time growing. My camera battery is low or else I would have had pix.

At 95% you will probably be OK, but yeah, you goofed.
Cakes often sweat a little, especially near the end. It's not a big deal.
Heating them is unnecessary. It can often cause problems. If they get a little cold one night, they'll just grow a little slow that same night. Contaminants will also be slowed way down in the cold (probably more so) so there is no real danger during a chill.
Turning them upside down lets the water drain into the dry verm layer and make it a wet verm layer. Wet verm doesn't stop contamination, but at 95% you'll probably be fine. Let them finish to 100% and don't mess with them.

first of all the heating pad sucks, so dose the AC but you need to do something about that, if the water from the bottom of the cake went into the dry verm layer when you turned it upside down then its possible for contams to be introduced.

You're almost for sure totally fine. Just lose the heating pad. It's totally unnecessary, as PoweroftheCoir said. Let the colonize to 100%, wait a week, then birth. If they are uneven in colonization, you can wait until the last one colonizes, then wait a week, so you can birth them all at the same time.
I recommend dunking & rolling.
Good Luck!

Thanks for all of the quick responses. Yeah the heating pad is gone. If these don't turn out OK that's OK because I have a couple of syringes coming in a week or so. Gonna try my hand at WBS.

There's always condensation on the inside of my jars at 100% and as they approach %100. No problem.
