if you have tape on the inoculation holes then that would account for your slow growth.

the temp sounds right but if the holes are covered let them breath some and see what happens, maybe do it to one jar and if there's a rapid growth then do the rest, if not why expose all of them without necessity.

I grow Pans in half pint jars. I experience the same problems. I havent found much of a soultion for it. If you have any bacteria in your jar it will stop Pans dead in their tracks. They are unlike cubes ,because cubes usually recover, Pans dont. Pans need more FAE. I can grow cubes just fine with only gas exchange. Pans will grow really slow in jars. Just let them colonize it might take twice as long as cubes but when it comes to spawning to Hpoo the Pans will beat the cubes.

I dont think it matters if you start with BRF cakes. I start with hpoo and end with hpoo. Youll have to use poo if you want your Pans to fruit.

Ive never had any luck with the store bought poo. It might have Cedar in it. Which is an Antifungal. Just go find someone with a horse and pick up the aged poo, not the fresh stuff.
