I am not interested in feelings, but in truth.

Maybe your version of truth can be stuffed in a nice square envelope, but for me I like how intuitive feelings push the boundaries and limits of "truth". If you have no feelings, you are no better than a computer. And computers can't think outside the confines of the limits we set for them.

There is truth in feeling.

There is no "my" version of truth. One can either read people's emotions strictly through looking at the pupil or they can't.

Ooops. I misinterpreted the "re:Learyfan" thing. Sorry to have bothered you kind sir.

One can either read people's emotions strictly through looking at the pupil or they can't.
This thread isn't about reading people's emotions. This thread is about someone's trip becoming more intense as the result of looking into a set of pupils. I was just wondering why it is that I can look at any part of a person's body while tripping and be uneffected, but when I look into "the window to the soul", it's like I took another two hits of acid. I don't know.

And a response to the 'Skeptics' whom I adore/revile  :grin:
Even if it IS a reaction to facial muscles, does it make it any less valid? If a person experiences it, then it is real for them. Not right, just real.

Not less real, but their is a big difference between concluding one is reading some ephemeral soul rather than muscular configurations commonly used to express emotions.

People are very easily lied to face-to-face. If we were so good at reading intent, through the eyes this would not happen.

No, you misunderstand. This thread isn't about reading intent. It's about tripping............and having that trip intensified by looking directly into the pupils of a fellow tripper. I think this also may work when it comes to orgasms. I think maybe your orgasm get's intensified if you're staring into the eyes of your lover? I don't know. I don't think I look at them when I cum. But I don't want to get off of the subject. This is about psychedelics.

I know what you mean, Learyfan, I have experienced that.
It is not only they eyes, it is every thing about that person.
I believe that when you are in an altered state you become more aware and more open, I even felt melding of the souls (some may argue that was just neurons on my brain going wacky) but I am not here to argue with them.
I am sure you felt that because there is a lot of openness from your part and your friend, I bet it does not happen with every one. It is a beautiful experience cherished it.
Never stop posting your, pics they are grate, I enjoy them a lot.

There might be contact in a way, but i don't think it is your soul.
Because soul would mean there is a god. And there is no god.
I like to say it is energy. Because energy is the only verbal explanation available in human language to explain the unexplainable.

I've experienced the same by the way. It boosts everything. The knowing factore.

You know that the other person feels and thinks the same and it generates an energy feel combined in a nonvisable reaction. That boosts its own generation.

The eyes are the windows to the soul.  I have recently come to the conclusion that the soul is just a word for the energy within all beings that allows them to, well, live.  Psychedelics, especially naturally occuring, is kind of a booster for that internal energy. (For example : psychedelic mushrooms:soul  as  Nitrous Oxide:Gasoline) :laugh:

Then you should not have said this:  Evidence of a soul?

You are saying that i could mean we have a soul. And a soul is always seen as the church based word for 'what we are, made by god'.

Maybe next time, you will choose your choice of words more wisely.

ok, check this out:

i attended my first Reiki session about a year and a half ago, and i wanted to experience it pure, so i refrained from weed and other drugs that day. we showed up, did some reiki, and it was trippy as hell. i won't get into the actual experience too much, but afterword we were sort of milling around talking to people. i didn't know anyone there save for my 2 friends who i came with, but i was talking with a few different people. then i met one lady, who looked into my eyes. i can't exactly explain the feeling that i got except that it felt like she could read me down to my innermost thoughts. it was like she had instant access to my soul through looking in my eyes. it was rather uncomfortable, probably because i didn't know her, and i felt a bit threatened. it felt like she could've induced serious psychic damage on me if she wanted, but luckily i don't think it was her intent. to this day i can't explain it, but that's why i believe that there's SOMETHING about the eyes that're psychedelic (for lack of a better term)...

also, anyone else have this type of experience, hit me up PM?

I'm confused a little by your post, but i'm trying to say that "soul" and "God" are the same thing. I could have just as easily said "Evidence of God?" but people get too hung up on that word, and what it means to them. I'd have to explain that I believe that we're all one soul, or "God".
