okay i have had some spores i ordered for while now cannot even think of time ratio.... but i do know the 3 i have only one syringe worked out of the 3 so safe to say i will not be ordering from that place again and not to start an arguement i will not mention the vendor....
i just made some lc and still have not seen any growth yet but that may be cause of the time... meaning too soon to tell.. my question is does the temp of the syringe matter? i have had these syringes in the frigerator for the whole time and before i inoculated i didnt let it sit out to become warm.. does this have an effect?

Was the vendor The Sporestore? They suck. Never use them. ONLY PURCHASE FROM SITE VENDORS. I learned the hard way as well. They wouldn't be on this site unless they were on the up and up.
You should store syringes in a zip-lock baggy in a drawer. Putting them in the refrigerator will make them go into hibernation. Cold temperatures slow/stop growth of mycelium as well.
Spores will last a year or more just laying in a dark drawer at room temperature.
If you used a spore print, depending on how old it was, the spores may need to be re-hydrated in sterile water before using. I believe that the usual re-hydration period is 24hrs.

LCs have a high fail rate until you find exactly what works for you. Consider trying to inject them into a grain jar. You can inject a colonized grain jar w/ sterile water, shake, and then draw a syringe full of myc water that will perform just like an LC. It's alot less prone to failure due to technique.
Spores usually last a while in a fridge. They might be OK.

ohhhh believe me i know what you are saying here... i have done grows with just innoculating the grain jars only takes a bit longer that is why i went to lc's but know i am finding that my failure rate from lc to grain is like insane. though i believe it has to do with the total pcing that is my problem since my pc doesnt have a meter gaurge for the psi i have to go by sound to the rocker.. it sucks cause i have had this thing for a couple years now its bound to be off...lol
i am looking now for a new one any suggestions within a money range of affordation lol
