Growing Environment Questions???

When it comes to cultivaion, im a newb hands down. Ive been doin some research and picked a tek. Ima grab the materials i need today after i leave work. But i have a few questions about the growth environment. Im gonna be using ShroomWizards Revised Grow Tek, just FYI. Anyway, lighting...how much, how often, what wattage? All simple question, just need a simple answer. What is optimum humididty and temperature in the grow chamber? I have a light timer so controling lighting and temp shouldnt be too much of a problem. I have my prints at home waiting to be used so, well see how this little project goes, provided i get some answers here. Thanks for all your help.

Here's what I do. It's a 7dollar 64 quart sterilite from wallyworld, with a seethru lid. It can fit probably 30 cakes at once, but i like casing more.

*Use more perlite than what's in this picture. 4-5 inches deep is good
*Drill holes in the sides, some right above the perlite and others near the lid.
*That's a flourescent bulb just sitting on the lid, a flourescent will not overheat anything, but will tell the shrooms which way to grow.
*Fan 2-3 times a day at least for best results.
The main thing about a fruiting chamber is you are creating an environment with high humidity, but also enough fresh air exchange. Optimum humidity is as close to 100% as you can get with cakes, casings you can probably go a bit lower because they create a lil bit of their own humidity. Fruiting temperatures anywhere from 70-80 are superb... 80 is a bit high.
Some people use the shotgun fruiting chamber, I have never heard anything bad about it, only good reviews. RR has a video that shows how to make it, go to home>sponsors>RR's videos to see how.

12/12 lighting if you can, though there is debate, mushrooms arent like plants and dont need to photosynthesize etc, it's a fruiting trigger (along with FAE and temp drop and full substrate colonisation) a light in the color temp of about 6500kelvin is best! if you can create as natural habitat for em, youll be fine

Your questions are all answered on the terrarium tek page. Good luck. RR
