Now I did look at some FAQs, and googled it so go all ape shit up in my crib unah. My questions are, 1. How long does it take for a mushroom to grow completely? 2. How long before a mushrooms dies and is no longer eatable? 3. When looking for mushrooms out doors are there any places that would be best? (eg wood farm, supermarket, blacks, backyard etc. etc.) 4. How long after it rains b4 i start looking for shroomies? 5. How much rain do mushrooms need before they start sprouting?

Against the rules, but I'll answer before it gets closed.
1.) Indoors it takes from the inoculation of jars to the end of growth...Which is generally around 1-2 months. Outdoors it usually takes less than 24 hours for them to be fully mature. However, 1-3 days is usually best. 2.) This depends on conditions...It could be dried out in 24 hours if its real hot. You want to get them fresh, and bring them indoors to dry them before any nasty shit gets on them. 3.) Depends on the mushrooms you want. If you are from the southeast then cubensis will be what you want. They grow in cow/horse shit. Mainly cow poo. If you aren't from there then I can't help you. Well I can, but you better hurry before this thread gets closed. Hunting in forests is always a good place for the other actives. 4.) Give it 24 hours. 5.) A small amount for a few days, or 1 good day of a nice rain, and you'll be ready.

http://www.shroomery.org/8461/Which-mushrooms-grow-wild-in-my-area
A list of mushrooms you can find in your area...Actives that is.
http://www.shroomery.org/8462/Which-species-can-be-found-growing-where-and-when
This gives a small description of the mushrooms as far as what they grow on and the season for them.
If they aren't in the list then just google it, and you'll find plenty of info. If you want to find edibles then buy a field guide, and start learning.
