70 would be acceptable I think, 68 is a bit low though. They will grow, but it will be a bit slower.

some will do better than others...cubes would do fine.I always like to stay between 80-85,but thats me...they say higher temps have more risk for contam,but ive never had a prob. w/ cubes at all.

68F to 70F is fine. Your fruits will be of higher quality when grown at cooler temps, even if it does take a bit longer. 80F will give faster growth, but your quality will suffer a bit. It's all a trade-off. RR

Well that is good to know! Thanks for clearing that up RR. I guess I will just keep it normal and see what happens. I have followed your youtube tek (almost) to the T. My jars are almost fully colonized@@ Thanks for all your help.
