Spore inoculation 4-7 days usually.
Liquid culture inoculation 2-5 days usually.
Use the search function. It will help you.

3-5 days for me. Could be 1 week, could be 2 weeks, or you may never see growth.

On 6/6 I inoculated 10 quart jars (ms). It took most of these jars about 2 weeks to start taking off (old spores)...and I have 2 jars out of the 10 which *just* started to show myc growth 2 or 3 days ago. Temps: 75.3f constant.

how potent depends on genetics not the substrate. in a multispore inoculation there are many substrains joining togather shareing dna. by the end of the grow one or two substrains become dominate.or the substrains sorta mix togather. its luck of the draw if you get a more potent mixture or final result. anyone feel free to make my answer more scientific. or correct where i may be misinforming. but i think i have it correct.

Pretty sure multispore means you used spores to inocculate your jars.

there is a method of finding a potent substrain its called isolating. keep that in mind for the future as your experience grows. i know i will. its pretty involved isolating a substrain. actually you have to isolate more than a couple then grow them out to see which has the traits you like. i guess in potentsy you would have to test each. then you could keep that culture and constantly grow it for consistant optimum results. also while isolating substrains you are transfering the strongest groth. so the myc of an isolate rips through substrates and gives better pinssets and yeilds because you keep the isolates that produce these results. no longer limited to the luck of the draw. you step in before all that dna mixes togather, separate it and have a looksee so to speak. search it up, its really interesting to read about. im new to so i havent tryed it. infact i havent started my first grow once again anyone feel free to correct or explain in more scientific terms.yet. good luck

yeah you used lots of spores when you shot up those jars. this means its a MS grow [multispore] i think the only other types of grows are from a clone or an isolate in some form or another. i think.

Next time, I highly recommend you inoculate through a worm hole. You will actually get germination prior to inoculation. And that is not just speculation leading to inaccurate dissemination.
