there are many cow fields around my area but no shrooms are growing due to the feed the farmers are feeding them i guess. there was a famous field that we used to always get tons of shrooms from but now they "lime their field"so there hasnt been shrooms in forever.
i was thinking since mushrooms only grow when you introduce the spores coulnt i just go inject some spores into i pile of shit from a cow or a horse and shrooms grow?

thts a good question ..but i dont think it would work to good since the poo will already have tons of bacteria

how do you think they normally grow then? obviously they have no problem growing outdoors as long as the climate and conditions are right. sterility doesn't matter when your growing outdoors.
outdoor patches are possible, but you might want to set it up a little better than just injecting spores into poo.
try to get some mycelium cultured and then spawn it to a nice shady, moist spot with some poo and straw.
theres more detailed overviews on how to grow outdoors, just use the search function!

some were i heard that the poo in the fields that have shrooms growing off them are inoculated by some kind of bird.

yes animals can help transfer spores..but thats not how mushrooms grow.

yea ive read a few post about outdoor growing but i was just wondering if simply injecting some spores with do it. im growing indoors now because of the shroom drought here now days. i dont really want to seriously try and grow outdoors i just wanted to see if injecting the spoors would grow to shrooms and eventually spread around the field. it seemed like it would work, just wanted input- thanks

You need a well-colonized and uninfected substrate to get good results. Yes, you MIGHT get results, but it would not be worth the syringe. Do some reading. There is a lot of good info here. You can always spawn from cakes, rye, berries, dollar bills, ect. But a straight-shot is a good way to get straight-fucked.

i did man but eveything said to use straw and what not. nothing said anything about just straight injecting.true i did read about this subject a few weeks ago so i may have forgot if there was something on that subject but not to my memory so

It said nothing about it because its not a good way to do it...Start the grow indoors get some grains colonized a spawn to some poo.

I once read that the cow's stomach is one of the factors in a spore's germination process. The cow's stomach acts literally as an incubator.
This will not prove to be a cost efficient method unless you are making the syringes yourself...and if you're growing mushrooms why would you even bother playing Johnny Mushroom Spore of your local cow fields.
Oh, and if you find a field that doesn't use any of the numerous methods of preventing fungus growth, I've always wanted to try to activate a field by dropping a huge load of spores in the cow's feed box. Wink Wink.
