Ok.
I have popcorn soaking at the moment in a huge pot. I will need to simmer it when I get home. When I simmer it, should/can I change the water or just simmer it in the water that it was soaking in for 24hours?
What does WBS stand for?
And are there any substitues anyone knows of that can be used with verm besides Brown Rice Flower?
thanks a bunch

I use fresh water to simmer popcorn. You're going to have to rins it really well anyways.
WBS stands for Wild bird seed.
Some people use rye flour instead of BRF, never tried it myself though. If you cant find the brf then just get brown rice and grind it really really well.

I would drain and rinse good. I've been making and using WBS flour. It seems to make them more potent compared to the one s on BRF.

I use cold. Don't think it will matter though, the thing you're trying to do is get off any excess starch that came lose after soak/simmer. Make sure you let it drain for at least 30 minutes, you'll know when its ready to go into the PC because after it's drained you can shake the colander/strainer around and no drops come out.
Robanero, do you use wbsf in place of BRF on the PF-tek? I gotta try that. Do you just use the millet part, and everything is the same proceedure as normal brf? What's colonization time like?

I use everything including the sunflower seeds. It seems to be a bit faster than my BRF. The cakes dont look like they are full colonized but they are. I guess the color of the flour.

That jar in the SG is the same jar in that shitty pic.
The cake on the left has 120+ pins and the other is closer to 200.
