So which is faster? Agar cut, LC or grain to grain transfer?

Grain to grain is pretty damn fast just due to the amount of colonized grains being put in the uncolonized sub.

Agar wedges can be slow due to lack of inoculation points...
G2G can be fast if your using good un contaminated spawn to transfer into each jar, and use a reasonable amount.
LC, can colonize very fast due to its HIGH number of inoculation points, down side is that using too much can cause problems in certain substrates

My vote is G2G. I just did it and the myc is moving! I think it's faster because the spores have already become mycelium.
Think of it this way:
Inside barn "A", there are ten dudes and ten babes, all milling about, waiting to start. Inside barn "B", there are ten dudes and ten babes, but they're already paired up, waiting to start...
I guess when you think about it this way, you can see which barn is gonna get their hoe down started first!

down side with G2G is, unless you use a flow hood or a glove box, there's a big risk of contamination. The whole procedure - opening jar lids, sticking a spoon in, moving grain to another jar - is inherently unclean. The beauty of LC with silicone injection points is there's almost no chance of contamination, no need for equipment except an upturned shot glass to flame sterilize your needle with ethanol, one syringe will shoot up 10 jars very quickly, and you can see myc growth within 48 hours.

roquet does have a point. Of the two, (using a wedge is the same contamination risk as G2G, all other things being equal), G2G is the more contaminate prone.
Therefore, if you are unsure of your sterile technique, by all means, use the more time consuming method. Better safe than sorry.
