Hey guys I had a pressing question on my first grow: Why are these guys so small and slender? Not enough FAE?

Yeah, those do look kind of non-cubensis. Might be a syringe mixup. If it was actually competitor fungus, it probably wouldn't have fruited so prolifically.

Wow, I've had cubes tall and skinny before from poor FAE and awful light, but those REALLY look like pan cyans. I'm with the other two on this one.
BTW, you'll know soon when you test them out. Pan cyans have a little more kick than cubes.

Yeah definitely not cubes. As for the trich, you're best off tossing it immediatley.

No. You have already released millions of trich spores into your house. Unless you want to screw up your chances of future grows you should get that thing outside immediately. No more fruits will grow from the trich infested part anyway, and eventually the whole tray will be covered in green.

I wouldn't eat those things, especially from a wild print. Mushrooms have probably killed more people than they have saved; keep that in mind next time you think about eating a wild one without expert identification. It is easy if you know the mushroom or know the field and what strains it carries. I am sure you have heard about amanita muscaria, what about the deadly amanita ocreata.

They are obviously not an Amanita, although I understand what you are saying.
Peterr1211, why don't you post an ID request in the Mushroom Hunting forum, just to be sure? The fact they are bruising blue suggests they are active and probably a pan, but you may as well find out for sure.

look im not trying to be a smart ass or anything and I appreciate your concern but I know what strain they are: pan cyans. This is because I know I had a cube and cope spore print from an earlier 100% Identification. I just must have switched the label on the prints, thats all. It was just a test run anways, learning from this experience I hope my next grow is better. Here is what the the substrate looked like after I picked them: notice the bluing:
I'm not gunna eat em just to be safe though. Besides, I only got a dried 3g from 1st flush and the trich ruined the rest
