instrument of choice while trippin
    #8652698 - 07/18/08 08:11 PM (15 years, 8 months ago)

i've only ever played guitar when i've tripped  and, except on low doses, bass.

what does everyone else like? i really want to try drums or even just bongos.

but playing guitar is niiice. first time i tripped it felt like my hand was sliding up and down a waterfall fretboard and  had no control over my fingers... sweet

I've used the piano, the clarinet, and the synthesizer.

I love them all.

Djembe, piano, or any kind of moog pedal with a delay pedal.

My handcarved djembe from hawaii. It's small, so it's portable for those really trippin trips and it sounds fuckin mint.

My soul has been almost inseperably intertwined with the fibers of that drum, they may as well be inseperable during a good trip.

Hell yes, man.

I love playing with the vocoder on my microkorg.
Especially combined with the arpeggiator.

And I do it in a dark room with the walls covered in mirrors, so the lights on the korg give off feedback loops of an eerie glow. It is excellent.

I love my bass whilst trippin, guitars fun but doesn't hold up to  slap bass with a heavy chorus and or delay. but nothin beats a good drum circle.

I'd say a guitar rig with ridiculous amounts of delay pedals is fun. Doubt me? Check out www.myspace.com/jakobmusic
