Incubation Temperature

So heres the deal, I had my jars in a closet with a space heater keeping it went anywhere from 79-81 deg during the day and 75-79 at night(due to day/night changes in temperature) but that was using alot of electricity and Ive read numerous posts saying that room temp(75ish) is fine if not better then higher temps.
So I then decided to move them to a drawer and the temp yesterday was the exact same as the rest of the house.(75ish) Come to find that the drawer temp is a full 6 degrees cooler than room temp this morning. It now reads 72.0(F).
My questions is, Will this be OK; or should i move the jars back into the heated closet?
I did PF Tek BRF/Verm with 1/2 pint fatty jars and strain is P.Cubensis B+ if it matters. ->edit(Totally forgot the + in B+)
Also a side question..... I inoculated the jars last Tuesday...6 days ago. Is it too soon to have 20-30% colonization growth in some of the jars by now? {10-20% in others} (Its hard to tell if its light Grey or white because of the color of the substrate also its not that thick and doesnt have much rhizomorphic growth showing.(little tiny shining strands is all)) Think its a contam? { Yes I flamed the tip of the needle before every jar. Yes I had a glovebox. Yes I was as sanitary as possable and lysoled the hell out of everything 1/2 an hour before inoculation. Yes i had the AC off......it was 95 out that day and I was sweating like a pig, but sacrifices must be made And Yes I boiled the jars each for 90 mins. } All 10 of the jars have the exact same growth happening at all inoculation points. Its all the same color. I also do not own a camera sadly, so if you cant answer that question without visual representation; ignore.
I only ask because Ive seen so many posts about people waiting 2 weeks before they have any signs of growth.
That was longer than i wanted it to be. . Sorry for the long noob post. Thanks in advance for any and all input.

Its possible. I see growth within 3 days a lot of times, and by the 6th day they are on there way to success. Some people will probably say it could be contaminates I mean since its going so fast. If you suspect anything post some pictures. Many people say incubate at room temperature. Including myself. My room that I incubate in though stays at 76-80 degrees at all times. I don't like to get up or go past 80. I don't think it slows it down to have a little cooler temperatures. Of course if you get it too low it will hault, but 72 or whatever you said is not going to do that. You should be fine. Just keep the light away as much as possible.

You really should try to get an incubator and keep your grow at 85-86F until you are ready to fruit. As far as the bonus question, only time will tell.

Thanks for the replies, I think I'll keep them in the drawer for the next few days, ill probably end up checking them Wednesday at the earliest, and go from there.
I was mainly concerned that the jars would be too cold at around 72-73.
Say it was a contam...would dropping the temp this much have any noticeable effect that would be visually distinguishable from normal mycelium growth? Probably not i would guess, but you never know.

No. Only time will tell. Going over 80 is a hot zone for contaminates I will never go above 80 whether if its right or wrong.

Just an update, my jars have exploded with growth over the past 2 days 1/2 of them are 50%+ colonized already (the rest 30-40%) and they are all showing nice rhizomorphic growth; even the last jar that I only had enough left in the syringe for 2 inoculation points is showing good growth. After only one week! I wasn't expecting much from my first time but so far its looking promising
I'm not sure if this was because i lowered the temp, but whatever, it worked anyway.
No contams so far. (knock on wood)
I'll keep ya posted.
ps. Thank you Shroomery!

Room temperature is incubation temperature unless you live in an igloo in Antarctica
If you do live in Antarctica PM me and I will try and find some of my old spores or something to send to you,I have a personal goal to help someone grow on every continent and have never sent anything to Antarctica yet

yeah.. room temp is fine.. keeping them ~80 will keep growth optimal, for some.. it really doesnt matter though.. the effort you go through to keep them warm vs. the results are "eh"... lol
I actually have quart jars of wbs fully colonized in 10-14 days... at room temp.. not the fastest, but using a heating pad and whatnot anytime other than the coldest of winter, it doesnt really do much..

Additional Update:
I just inoculated 2 more jars with Z strain.(Trying out a completely clear syringe I received) They are now in a drawer beneath the B+'s.
If I had a camera id show you that my 3 best jars(of the 10 B+) are 65-70% colonized already. Unfortunately I don't believe I will be able to squeeze a digital camera purchase into my budget any time soon.
I don't think that I will be incubating my jars again, ever; room temp growth has been colonizing way faster. Of course that could just be because of the stage of growth they are in......
Thanks for the input.

Just another update.......i love you guys btw...... all 10 of my jars are 85-95% colonized one of them is about 99% (the one i left the lid off of surprisingly enough.)
I did not punch holes through the lids, don't think i mentioned that before...just put foil on.....screwed the lids on top of the foil....boiled, loosened the lids inoculated through foil put the lids back on 9 of em VERY loosely took 1 lid off of 1 of em....
0 contams so far. "fingers still crossed"
I'm so glad there are a bunch of people out that love mushrooms as much as me. (i don't really love you guys...yet.....but i might after a couple more weeks )
sadly in about 5 days I'm gonna be moving the operation to a place where i wont be able to get online for a month or so, so i guess ill have to give you guys the last update somewhere near the end of august or the beginning of September unless i happen to get my hands on somebody's internet....and then shortly after.......cyanescens season starts.
I'm gonna have fun this year

Oh, i lied....the last jar i inoculated (Labeled 10)only had 2 points of inoculation so its sitting at 55% colonization...which isn't that bad......really nice rhizo growth, though falling short of some of the amazing pictures Ive seen on this site.
And the 2 jars i knocked up with the completely clear syringe labeled "Z strain" still are not showing any growth yet except for one little tiny patch of fuzz at the bottom of 1 jar under 1 inoculation point covering 2-3 pieces of verm..... could be anything at this point. I think i may have received a syringe with only a few hundred thousand spores or something.
The other i received along side that one is LOADED with spores lots and lots of clumps(that one is F+ if you care ) ... so much so that I'm not too sure about it......but they both came from a shroomery vendor so I'm sure everything will turn out fine in the end.
Oh well, cant really complain as I've got 10 jars almost ready to go. I probably wont even end up needing them, i did buy them for backup purposes after all.
