Pan cyan misting is confusing me

OK I got a couple pan cyan's growing in some cow poo, at first i misted them 3 - 4 times a day. I started noticing that a lot of the small pins where turning blue and stopped growing. And last night I read that its bad to mist the caps of pan strains and it can stop / slow down the growth.

Now my question is, how the Frick am I supposed to mist them indirectly AND not on the caps? misting indirect seems like the right thing to do but its killing my shrooms?!? The poo looks kind of dry sometimes to so i mean shouldn't i be misting?

Indirect misting is misting into the air above the grow medium, and letting the fine mist gently land onto the substrate. This will, of course, also mist the fruiting bodies, but if you fan immediately afterwards the process of evaporation will begin and the mushrooms themselves should dry quick enough NOT to be a problem.

I've never grown Pans, so I'm not sure if the above technique is apropos. :goodluck:
