LIVE CULTURE

1-Is there a way to order colonized live culture liquids online?
2-What should a jar of colonizing live culture look like...
I have a couple jars of live culture liquid I tried making...I used mason jars. For injection site, I drilled holes in the lids, put 1cm+ of silicone on each side of the hole, dried the lids. I washed the mason jars and everything in bleach water for 20 minutes, rinsed with clean water. Filled mason jars with mineral water and 5%25 honey. Closed lids, Pressure cooked for 20 minutes, let jars adjust to room temperature over 24 hours. Drove with jars and spore syringes to friends house. I wet both the syringe and surface of lids with hydrogen peroxide, then injected 4CC of spores into each vaccum sealed jar through my silicone injection spot. I came back a few days later worrying maybe I should give oxygen to some of the jars, so I got a clean syringe and just put like 10CC of air in some of the jars. From the point the spores were injected, they have been in a rubbermaid container kept at a minimum of 21 degrees celcius, thanks to a submerged water heater in between the two containers, and ketp in the dark with the lid.
After about one week, I checked on them. A couple of them didnt really change at all they just looked kinda cloudy and thats it..But most of the jars there was maybe a couple of centimetres of white fluffy shit in the solution collected at the bottom. After about two weeks, it looked the same although there was maybe 4 centimetres of the loose white fluffy shit. Now, 3 1/2 weeks later, then is maybe 6 or 7 cm of white fluffy shit in the bottom. There doesnt seem to be any visible contaminants in the jars...I was worried it was just some sort of weird honey residue collecting on the bottom.
3-How do I tell when my live culture is ready? 4-What should it look like at this point?....there is maybe a few centimetres of the white shit in bottom of container and 750ml of water in each container. I was under the impression like 75 or 100 percent of it would be white mycellium. 5-If it's good mycellium...just not fully colonized...Can I still use it succesfully to inoculate spawn bags? 6-Is there anything I should consider to accelerate the growth???

Is it possible that maybe I need to release more of the cavvum seals and give them oxygen to flourish?

1- No.
2- Pretty much what you described. Though, there's only one way to know for sure if its good..
You want the mycelia to reach about the size of a quarter before ya use it..I store my colonized cultures in the fridge for up to 6+ months after they're ready..shake the jars every once in a while to spread the love throughout the LC, you'll get faster colonization this way..

Yeah I've looked at pictures and it basically looks like the pictures I've seen of succesfully colonized mycellium. However in one picture I saw, the mycellium sort of grew off of the sides of the jars everywhere, mine just sort of is loosely collected in the solution at the bottom...above it is mostly just clear liquid
Can you elaborate as to what you mean when you say that they should be at least the size of quarters?...I just have a big conglomerate of loose white fluffy shit on the bottoms of my containers.

we're talking liquid culture jars, not syringes/slants.

I'm using 1litre jars I think....or around that anyways. I have about 750ml of solution in each one.
Sounds good? As in good to use or good progress? I need this shit soon man...at the rate it's going it'll be ready in 10 weeks. No pictures because the Home is far maybe an hour at least so I won't be going to get them before I'm using them...soon is OK????

Sounds like they might be alright... My cultures start out with little fluffs, but they develop into larger clumps after a few days of swirling the jars once a day.
I deleted my picture of my cultures, but I say give it a few more days... you'll see

I'd wait until you had a bunch more myc growing. like this. I just used this R44 LC to inocculate 28 quart jars of WBS. I've had this in my fridge.
When you have a bunch of myc in there, then it's good to use. I've never used it until there was a large mass in the bottle. good luck

four weeks is more than sufficient, now toss those puppies in the fridge for storage.
