Well first you need to obtain some cow dung(horse will do) you don't want fresh steamin cow pies, what your looking for is the oldest, most dried out dung you can find.

Put the dung in a large container(5 gallon buckets work great) and use a shovel(or anything else that works) to break up the dung. Break it up as fine as you can get it, there should be no clumps of dung when your finished. Now your ready to pasteurize.

Grab an old pillow case and fill it with the broken up dung. Tie of the pillow case and place in a large pot on the stovetop. Fill pot with water and heat until it starts to boil. Soon as it starts to boil, turn off the heat and let it cool. Once its cooled, lift out your bag of dung and hang it somewhere to drip dry. When your ready to use it, give the pillow case a good firm squeeze to get any excess water out od the dung.

This is one way of doing it. If you don't have acsess to a stove top, or don't have a pot large enough for the project, theres another way you can do this. Get a large cooler, put your pillow case full of dung in the bottome of it, and pour boiling water into the cooler until the dung is completely submerged. Let this cool down, and hang the pillow case somewhere to drip dry.

When using dung like that doesn't it stink? I've never used the dung method/tek -call it what you will-. Does anyone notice a difference in cow dung to horse dung?
