Well, rye grain, are the grains of the rye (the rye's seeds). Now, rye grass is a type of grass used in lawns. It is not the same. Most grassland shroom will grow on rye grass seeds, while not on rye grain.

READ TMC - GET A COPY! Oh Well- less discussed substrates for sclerotia formation are wheat grain and barley. Any cereal grain will work fine. Rye grass is supposed to be prefferable. Stuff they sell @ the nurserys for grass works just fine. Perrenial or Annual. Thread Closed-
