Quart Jar Method?
    #8654886 - 07/19/08 11:57 AM (16 years, 5 months ago)

Hey guys,
        I followed

and right now the jars are about 75%25 colonized. Should I continue with this method? Or should I try casing them? Ive been reading alot of mixed opinions on this.

Any help/suggestions are appreciated!
Thanks

I would go with spawning to a bulk substrate. I use strait coir, but there are a lot of other excellent bulk sub tek out there.

And of course, little is relative.  They're little compared to the tree that they are growing under.

So these guys are looking good. 90-100% colonized.  I started giving them light 3 days ago.  When can I expect to see some more life?

spawn to bulk substrate ( manure based compost is best ) then case with 50/50 peat and vermiculite. Good luck!
