Do you have a link for that?
Sorry to be doubting you however I have researched the legal aspects in depth and I think I am familiar with all the cases.
People trade spores all the time, no need to be paranoid about it. Its a legit hobby. : )

I'm pretty sure it's dependent upon where you live. Like how most spore website will not ship to California, Georgia, & Idaho.
And we all know that Weilii, no matter how many 'i's are at the end of it, is found in GA.

You might be looking for the PF spore bust, but that guy got in trouble for growing cubensis and having a few in his trash can.

I don't think anyone has ever been charged under those laws.
Of course its a good idea to follow them to keep it that way, especially if you run a spore business or grow mushrooms.

Good point, I forgot that GA was one of those states. Thats why weilii prints never seem to get traded much. Shouldn't be too hard to grow since its in the Cordisporae section.

yeah but in a situation like that i think i would have to have the venison, homegrown veggies are always a must.
i would want all the food i could get my hands on in a bad situation, make sum jerky with the deer meat and eat it slowly over time.

Merry Christmas Eve everyone.
It is raining and 64 degrees in Atl! The temp dosn't go below 50 degrees until next Sunday by forecast and on Saturday it gets up to 69 degrees! Of course it is late in the year and we have had prior freezes here. To you experienced people: Are these temp conditions favoriable for Weiliis, say supposing it was even the beginning of November? Has anyone ever seen them this late in the year?
I have read almost this whole thread to page 37 or something the other day, it was about 3/4ths the way through. Thanks to everyone for the pics. But I don't recall hearing of the exact best temps - although I can search it and look in a book too.... but still would be interested in knowing if anyone has found any this late.
It would be something else if mother nature gives us a Christmas / solstice present!

Late Dec. Showers bring no flowers . I still look all the time, though. Just in case. I found a patch of about 40 black hard weilii, a couple yards away from a spot of mine 2 days ago, but those suckers stay around for ever if you dont pick them. I will wish everyone here in the great region of this state a wonderful christmas, and a fuckd up New Years! Happy holidays!
I really have enjoyed this post this year. It has been the best thread to date for weilii, imo. everyone has been nice, helpful, and non-hostile for almost the entire thread, and that is true southern hospitality! Or whatever you call it.
oh yeah, and good luck with your weilii searching.

I have been finding a incredible amount of mushrooms recently, all of the mushrooms that are fruiting now are the ones that were fruiting during the spring weilii season, thats a good sign I think.
There have been tons of psathyrella (the lookalikes) fruiting now as well, get out there and check your patches people.
tons of gyms out now, tons of edibles, why not tons of weilii???

Anyone have any luck so far?
Next year, I am going to do so many super soaker mushie slurrys, and then I'm gonna ride down the side of the road everywhere I see anything that needs weilii growing.
