I was looking on ebay for cheap pressure cookers and i came across this : Could this be used to pasteurize rye grain? or no? Id really like to know it would save me a lot of money.
Also is there any tek to pasteurize grain / WBS, without a PC?

Actually there is a tek that uses lye (i think) and fractal sterilization
look up fractal sterilization for webs/grains
might not work 100% and seems to be a bit more hassle then doing up a few pf jars

Microwaved millet http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=Growlog&Number=1218013&page=&view=&sb=5&o=&fpart=1&vc=1
agars no pc wbs http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/5051090

If anybody wonders, WBS was soaked, nuked, frozen, thawed, nuked, frozen, thawed & nuked again.
Sounds like a tedious process to me
in this thread agar himself says

I bought one of those microwave PC's from a thrift store for $2.
It wasn't worth the $2 or carrying home.
There are tons of threads so do a search for fractal sterilization or wbs without pc or wbs without pressure cooker http://www.shroomery.org/forums/search.php
a few successes with microwaves and other methods...
If you have time on your hands a bit of extra money you dont mind wasting you can try it without a pressure cooker....
But in the long run a pressure cooker will save you money (you just have to have 100-200 dollars up front thats the only trade off)
good luck

You can spawn pf-cakes to coconut coir or horse/cow poop... you dont really want to spawn to grains i dont think... (un-pressure cooked ones at least)
