Hi Moe,
I have to agree with the last post
but a funny story ...
before the days that I had a All American
pressure cooker I had a small cheap pressure
cooker and tried a batch of grain It worked
out OK (50/50) but some of the trays started growing wheat, I left it to grow and the mushrooms and wheat grass grew together so I
think that you could have some plants in there maybe some herb who knows
PS hows your TV terarium.
(coolet thing I've heard on this board!)
Best Regards
Davos.

Stamets has frogs in his growrooms to eat flies. They must not be that troublesome. I think MJ has seen them if you want to know what kind. If it wasn't MJ, then it was somebody that went to one of stamets growing seminars. Search for those posts.

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.

heya moe.

I had an outdoor casing once in a compost made up of an upturned garbage can with the bottom cut out. There was a green tree frog that moved in and didn't seem to cause any problems. He actually ate nats and flies and stuff. Paul Staments Says for the organic grower frogs are our best friends.

But now moe i don't know if he was really talking about an aquarium I think he was really talking about having them in huge grow rooms but meh. good luck.

p.s. I have some blurry pictures of that old casing with the frog if you would like to see them i submitted them a long time ago but ythan didn't agree that they were worthy of the gallery (also the last picture I ever submitted)

Just remember that 'chilling on' also means 'shitting on'. If that doesn't bother you then go for it. HOWEVER
I have thought about something that should do very well with cakes--preying mantises. In our area you can buy egg cases very cheaply. To hatch, increase humidity and give them a balmy temperature [hey, sounds like a mushroom fruiting chamber I saw once. . .] and BAM a hundred perfect little miniature mantises protecting your crop from the vicious onslaught of the fly horde. They whittle each other down pretty quickly, though.

hey Moe,

Aside from the Frog shit problem, make sure you have plenty of ventilation. I am unsure as to whether or not CO2 will stay in suspension, or settle to bottom of terrarium and sufficate your froggy.

It would suck to have your frog take a shit on your shroomies while he sufficates to death.

"hey look everyone, I have frog shit and dead frogs in my terrarium"

On another note, my Wife has thousands of green tree frog babies, she has this thing about collection tadpoles and growing them to maturity. Fuckers "croak all night, wife seems to like it, oh well. She does her thing, I do mine. Who am I to bitch, since she doesn't
