Well, there are many things you could have done before posting your question: 1) doing a search on this site for a similar thread. 2) Looking on the net, especially at the various sites known to have this type of info, and since you said you have a couple of posts under your belt i bet you've seen links to them before.

But anyway, since you need a spoon feeding, I'll give you a link that'll answer all your questions.

just a warning ...... you can try this plant, order it legally..... but it is not a small thing.... be prepared for something you can't be prepared for.. everyone has different experiences but from the people  I've known and my own personal experience...... you've never come close to this.....

hahhaha  just dont do it while your driving

Salvia divinorum is a sage plant that grows naturally in southern Mexico. And yes, it is legal to possess for now, but not legal to ingest... at least that's what I would think. There is also another member of the Salvia family that some think to be active, Salvia splendens.

Well, Then, instead of telling him where to find the information for himself like an educated person should do, I guess i could just answer this question with the information he wants every single time this question is posted, and that is atleast 3 times a week. Perhaps i should make a macro so i can just push one button and the info pops up for every lazy person that can't do some reading on information sites.

Besides this forum is about growing, not giving information about a very well known plant. Perhaps if someone wanted information on a very obscure plant to most of us, then someone could give info. But asking what salvia is every week by someone different gets annoying. That's why they have "Read The FAQ" before posting questions on a lot of the forums now. To Avoid wastes of time like this.

It is legal to ingest in the US and most other places in the world.

(btw i know this is the reply to the wrong person if it one looks at the "re:", but i'm sure you get the point)

Last time i checked, FAQs were written by regular joes, scientists write articles published in medicine and science journals.

My point in posting was to show that these common questions are asked all the time. And sooner or later the forum would be littered with "what is salvia" posts.

I'm sure if you asked your science teacher about the nature of light, he'd refer you to your text book.

Besides, as soon as one enters the posting forums there is a link at the top that says "please consult the various FAQs before posting a question"

Oh, and if you didn't like my post, be thankful Murple didn't post a reply.

Your an immature little shit. Most these people arent being assholes, they are telling you the truth. Dont ask stupid ass questions, you could have used a search engine to find your answers. Let alone the search in the forum would have found it, every forum explains that. Had you taken the time to look. Jesus even my first two days on the forum i noticed that. I recently tryed to stick up for people that ask dumb questions, such as yourself. Now everytime i see something like this i get pissed. Lack of intelligence is the problem. Or just plain ignorance
