Arctic Fungi (pic's)

Here are some pictures of some mushrooms that I found when I was in Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories (Canada), which is about 400 miles north of the Arctic Circle. I know they aren?t magic, but I thought somebody might know what kind they are?
Here is a picture of the town, Tuktoyaktuk, NWT (town where i found them)
Here is a pic from a Sesna 207 (6 seater airplane) of the arctic tundra (vast level of treeless Arctic region where subsoil is frozen).
This mushroom I actually ate (it was good, but not magic)
Some other mushies I found...
And I never really ate this one...
So... if any of you can identify these, please let me know! Thanks

I should have said that one of the local natives told me that it was o.k. to eat that one. Trust me, I wouldn't EVA eat a mushie that I didn't know! R.I.P

Thanks for posting the pics. I am going to move this thread to the Hunting Forum as that is a more appropriate forum for your thread.

As Mr Mushrooms said, Agaricus. ID to species is difficult and requires knowing about the odor and bruising reactions of the mushroom.

*I have also read those two posts at the top of the forum and am much wiser on what to look for in the whole identifying process* Next time I will get more info for you experts so that you can help me identify properly!

wow, this is a really cool post
looks like the mushrooma you be munchin on Is Agaricus campestris.. i might have spelled that wrong but it is known as the Meadow Mushroom. The gills of the meadow mushroom are pink when young, then the gills turn a darker brown into maturity.
thanks for the great photos mushroomsally,
keep shroomin, GG

I also agree on the meadow mushroom ID. Nice to see you again !!! Did Scratcher made this trip too ? I bet it's cold over there, over here hasn't rain since you gone, all the sunshine and heat is still blazing this land. I really miss you both ... oh man, i'd really like to visit you guys. Will pot and shrooms be legal on Canada ? How do you feel ? It would be great. The hugest kiss to you and the biggest hug to Scratcher !!!!!!!
