Moe Howard at one point had quiet a battle with the flys. Stamets has some frogs that wondered into his grow room that like eating the flys. Some flys aren't neccesarily bad. There's certain flys which dig into the casing and just chill, actually aerating it and stimulating pinning. If they eat your crop its one thing, if they just wanna chill with it its another =). Give the guys a chance, maybe they'll help. If not, pickup a couple tree frogs at the pet store and let them loose in your terrarium =)

Cool. Terrarium mascots. Your crop will have a cheering section. If you do want to kill these bastards though, a piece of No-Pest Strip in a perforated yogurt cup works wonders. There is no need to leave it in there constantly. Just put it into a closed terrarium for about 24 hours. It's an old school reptile keeper's trick. No-Pest Strip kills the evil little blood mites on snakes. Comparatively, flies are like Barney Fucking Fife!
