the possibility of lacing the punch at the Policeman's Ball (by the way, anyone know whether policemen have balls? [LOL]) has been a running joke around here for a while. if anyone can come up with a story about some time something like this was ever pulled off successfully, I would 'preciate it.
disclaimer: I wouldn't do it, I just think it's a funny-as-hell idea.

BTW, I stayed up for 3 days straight (Fri-Sun) and the result was two songs, one of them twelve minutes long and the other mostly about the DEA. We need to somehow think of a way to dose those suckers with Ecstasy, let 'em experience the overwhelming joy they're trying to deprive people of. I can't think of a way to do it on a large enough scale for it to have a really positive effect.

Teen who delivered LSD cookies to police remains in jail

A man who police say dropped off baskets of drug-laced cookies at police stations across North Texas was arraigned today on a charge of tampering with a consumer product.
Christian Phillips, 18, of Watauga, remains in the Lake Worth jail in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
Mr. Phillips was arrested Tuesday after he tried to deliver a batch of cookies that later tested positive for LSD to the Lake Worth police station, police said.
During his arrest, police found a list of 25 police agencies across Dallas and Tarrant counties that they believe he targeted. Thirteen of the stations were checked off. Three stations — in Fort Worth, Blue Mound and Flower Mound — confirmed Tuesday that they received a similar package.
No one in Lake Worth consumed the cookies, Lake Worth Police Chief Brett McGuire said.
But some officers in Fort Worth and Watauga ate the suspect cookies, officials from those agencies said.
Watauga police arrested Mr. Phillips a year ago on charges of assaulting a police officer. He was later convicted of simple assault and sentenced to community service, which he was serving with Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
On Monday night, Mr. Phillips dropped off cookies in a wicker basket about 6:30 p.m. at the Blue Mound station, said Lt. Thomas Cain, a Blue Mound police spokesman. A card from MADD was attached.
The cookies strongly smelled of marijuana, Lt. Cain said.
Blue Mound police alerted authorities in Lake Worth, where they believed Mr. Phillips was headed. They also contacted MADD, which notified other police agencies.

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Fort Worth police said further examinations of what were believed to be drug-laced cookies delivered to police stations have shown the baked goods to be free of illegal contaminants.
According to police, initial field tests showed the cookies to be laced with LSD and possibly marijuana, but now officials said the cookies tested are clean.
A teenager, Christian Phillips, was performing community service and dropped off the cookies at police departments in Blue Mound and Lake Worth Monday night, police said. Phillips, 18, of Watauga, was arraigned Wednesday and was jailed on a $75,000 bond while facing charges of tampering with a consumer product.
Phillips said all along that he was delivering the cookies on behalf of MADD, who now confirms Phillips' claim to be true.
On Wednesday, tests conducted by the Tarrant County medical examiner showed no signs of illegal drugs on all cookie samples they have received so far. Officials said they will continue to test other samples of the cookies as they are received.
Meanwhile, Phillips' attorney has filed a motion to have him removed from police custody.
Phillips was sentenced to community service work for an assault on police officer charge, authorities said.
