Sounds as if its been an interesting road you've travelled. That was a good read. Interesting to see someones own personality changes from their own viewpoint. I went through a dramatic personality-changing time in my early 20s. Maybe we all do at some point before finding something that suits us. And maybe it never ends. Perhaps I'll once again say how different I am 20 years from now.
Anyway, you seem like the kind of guy I'd like to sit around and have a beer with and tell each other all our bullshit stories!

You can be quite certain you will. One of the worst things I did was assume I was 100% sure of who I was at 19.

Awesome. Hope life stays just as satisfying.

Awesome read. I really enjoyed that.

That was a great read man thanks so much for sharing.

I had problems with phantom pain for the first 8 weeks or so. I adapted to using a prosthetic rather quickly, and it seems that made the pain disappear.
I still have neuropathic pain in my forearm, but I don't want the prescriptions the army wants me to take for it. I'll just wait until I get my walking papers and smoke a bowl in the future.
PM me if you wanted more elaboration on the phantom pain thing.

That's intense. I've always wondered whether I could be in the military without changing who I was, but it sounds kind of impossible. Great post.
