alright I just got my spores in today, one syringe of texas goliad and one syringe of F+. So i just inoculated my 4 lb bag of sterilized wild bird seed with 10cc F+, and put it in a VERY dark place to colonize. From what i read it'll take about 10 days to notice anything so ill update when the time comes...

so im trying to make a liquid culture using dextrose, i was going for 4% but after the boil it turned out to be right around 6.15% dextrose, I know this is pretty high but i was wondering if the texas goliad spores that i have would grow in this heavy solution? Any advise is greatly appreciated.
