Casing questions
    #859070 - 09/02/02 03:28 PM (18 years, 6 months ago)

I am basically Casing for dummies, doing crumbled cakes and rye grain (both ways) for the first shot. Using Verm, and 3 &1. Seems to be working alright. My questions are two fold. One, It says to cover the spots that colinize first to make the flush even. I have noticed that the white parts don't get any shrooms growing in it, only in the 3in1. Is this typical?? Next, after my flush, do i need to stir this stuff up and recase, maybe rake it with a fork, kinda disc it up? Looks like i got most of this figured out, but questions on my productivity keep popping up. Thanks All

White parts? Which white parts?

No, just apply a thin layer of casing to cover the spots where you teared the shrooms out.

Some people really like to make-up their own teks, instead of first focusing on one that is working and learn learn learn.
So I think you need to go through your notes again and check what needs doing to get fruit and initiating flushes.
Otherwise, goodluck
