Sterilization question

I just ordered some spores from Spore Works but don't know when they will arrive. The problem is, my parents are gone until Sunday and I doubt the spores will get here before then. So I was wondering, could I do everything up to the inoculation of the jars with the spore syringe before I get the spores. Would everything be okay if I boiled and sterilized the jars on Saturday and then waited until sometime next week to put the spores in? And if that doesn't work, how long will the spore syringe stay good at room tempature? There's really no telling how long until I'll have access to the kitchen for a few hours with no parents around.
Thanks

Feel free to do your jars in advance... They can sit for a week or longer before being innoculated with no ill effects.

Wouldn't it be best not to let them sit? I mean, it might get contaminated. I wouldn't sterilize until the night or morning right before i innoculate, that way the spores germinate and mycelium grows and gets a foothold to fight off contams. If you let the jars just sit there, the contams get a foothold before the mycelium does, gicing the contams a headstart.
I realize that this is only if contams are a concern, but i doubt he's working in a completely sterile environment.
Correct me if i'm wrong.

As a matter of fact some people intentionally let the steralized jar sit for a week to see if any contams grow. It is a way to double check your steralization process. It will not hurt to let them sit.

Your Wrong!
You can presterilize jars before using them.
Hell how do you think a Vendor sells presterilized jars? huh?

You can very well sterilize things in advance, but you can?t pasteurize compost or dung in advance.

I find leaving jars will allow you to see if you`ve done a good job of sterilisation as has been said here. Also though I find by leaving your jars for a day or 2 it also allows you to check on your moisture levels in your jars to check if down the line you are going to have to deal with gloop at the bottom of the jar because of too much water.

Actually letting them sit is a pretty good idea, that way if you get contams, you didn't waste spores on a jar that was going to contaminate.
Good luck
