Found these in a pine forest but they werent growing under a pine tree the closest trees were oak and two other types i do not know what they are.

In my field guide the closest looking thing is Amanita muscaria var. formosa, as far as the color goes im not experienced with this genus so hang with me.

yeah there are more i just like the buttons too study, i like to familiarize myself with all the different forms mushrooms can take pins, buttons, mature specimens. it helps me gain knowledge of them

Cut it in half and get a good macro pic of the inside of the egg.

Those Amanitas are too young and too ugly for me to identify to species

Phenomenal picture of the Amanita button. You can really see how people get killed thinking they have a puffball.

yes there was only about an inch above the soil very cool when i pulled it up i was shocked how much was underground.
