I went out today and picked up a 5-6 inch deep sterilite tub to put under the gh and a big bag of perlite that will probably go in the tub on the bottom as well as in other places around the gh as space allows like RR suggests.  That sounds like a good way to even out RH throughout the gh levels.  if I cover the tub at the bottom with a layer of perlite I could skip the paper towels thing right?  They would absorb all the drip moisture and return it to the air as humidity since the flaps of the gh go down inside the tub.  I haven't set this all up yet so it's a work in progress.. once I have everything in place (after my cool mist gets here next week) I'll post some pics (under 200k .

i still run a hose out of my cool mist into the GH.

i stick the hose in the slot and lightly electric tape to keep it in place.

there is still a small hole for pressure to expell. I also do have slits in my GH, but placing it on the shelf is taking up valuable real estate in my GH.

just my 2cents
