Wondering if anybody has experiance with myco-teks, hydro pod. I've read TMC and G&MM and would like to start cultivating gourmets. This looks like an easy way to get in. I've e-mailed myco-tek to ask what gourmets strains they have had sucsess with, Just wanted to hear from you guys. In particular I was wondering about heating requirments. Thanks for your time.
Good info there Mycotek. I am glad to see the pod is doing well. It seems like a great device for fruiting the gourmets...good air exchange, and humidity. I can range like a 20 degree difference in temps in my 3 level house this time of year. Depends on where ya "set up shop". For a first time edible effort, I recommend the H. ulmarius mushroom. "Elm Oyster". It seems to fruit on anything in almost any condition. I have not seen it fail to produce yet...it is a tough one!! Keep up the good word, and let me know if you want to trade/need cultures.
