Ok, the cakes that were already in the FC now look kinda greenish and the pins are certainly stalled. BUT I had to add 2 new cakes that were fully covered and they seem to be doing very well. Nice big pins and the heads are starting to show nicely. I upped the light to 8+ hrs per day and turned up the ultrasonic. Yeah I know you told me to use perlite but until I can get the kids gone for a while it will have to do.
So should I clip the older cakes and dunk them and return them or just clip them and hope for the best? Again, Dunking is gonna be kinda tuff due to having teens in the house but I think I could do it perhaps with a cooler and ice putting the cakes in tupperware .

Maybe Trich. In which case, dispose of said cakes immediately. Trich spreads like wildfire.

Can't be conclusive without pics.

unless its like a greenish blue bruising in which case your cakes are probably pretty dry

Its very light and now that you mention blue, it is kinda blueish. Ill attempt to take some pics this evening and post them. Im pretty computer retarded but ill give it a go.
