I'd have to wonder if a bunch of undigested mushrooms showing up your intestine would: a)get digested enough to be absorbed b) cause GI problems (like cramps and farts)
Powdering them finely before ingestion,blenderizing them with juice,extracting them into alcohol,or making tea should all help reduce nausea,cause you are sort of starting the "digestion" of them before they even get in the body.Though the actives can be inherently nauseating,I think any of these measures help...
