Congrats, man.  That rules.  Get your camera back so you can take good pics!  They're going to fruit pretty quick from here on out.

You don't have to case, and it's really up to you if you feel like doing it.  Apparently, your fruits will be bigger without it, but you might get a few less actual fruits.  You can even case after the first flush to avoid any possible contams, I think. Hey amigo!

Looks like you've been doing rather well!

My 8 Palenque jars and 3/4 testers of Menace's TX are colonized, just in time to spawn before I head to FL.  Gonna teach the roommie some basics...he's getting to munch for all my labor, time to get some help!

My poo tub is slowing- I dunked it and (yeah yeah I know, dont' do it) cased with straight verm, and got a nicer pinset, but about 1/3 of 'em have aborted.  It's all good, anything I get now is like a bonus. 

Can't wait to get get on that next project- I might do coir since I'm gonna be busy and don't feel like prepping the poo in the days before travel where I need to be getting ready for that.  Sunday we'll load more jars and spawn the ones that are finished.  Hmm...8 palenque jars...time for a bucket grow???  Whatcha think?

The 3 testers of menace, those will have to go in a tray in the perlite chamber.

Now I'll just hijack and tell ya a story if you've got a minute :wink:

Went camping and canoing on a river this past weekend.  Took an O of powdered brazilians.  These aren't the most potent guys ever, but they work.  Seems like a dime isn't enough to feel much, but 3 blows your mind.  Like a weird threshold dose.

I did lemon shots, 3g per shot.  Mixed it up in a big bottle.  We did 1 shot each on Fri- man...things shaking like hell, total insanity from the roommie.  He managed to get his tent sideways while he was inside freaking out. 

Myself and the other on riding the train with me, we went to the beach and checked out a storm rolling in.  Millions of lightning bugs!  I summoned some bats by throwing rocks into the air.  We laid on the gravel, it was like a massage. 

We listened to John Zorn's duck calls and freaked out the hillbillies.

Had a great time on the river- we 3 shroomers and 5 non shroomers had a blast, and I stood and paddled the canoe through most of the easy stretches.  We all had the good vibe, total tranquility and openness to all that nature.

The next night, I gave him and my other buddy 1 shot each, maybe 1 1/2 to the other.  He found his inner snake and slithered on the ground.  We both shat our brains out (now I know to push lemon soaked mush mush through a strainer!)  Then, after doing my 1 1/2 and enjoying it, I did a total of 3 more spaced through an hour...nobody else wanted a shot, and it was all mixed up, so I had to go for a moonshot.

So that's about 9g 4 hours after ~4-5g...

Zounds.

Holy shit brother!

Not too visual, not too spiritual either, but the most beautiful insanity ever!  I attribute that to it's being the second night in a row, and I started getting some of those dark vibes that sometimes happen when the guardians are telling you to back off a bit.  I loved it!

Oh, by the way, during the whole weekend, no hot dogs!  Homemade from scratch mac n cheese with fire roasted scallions, hot peppers, and ham...Caribbean pork tenderloin, lots of wine, breakfast burritos with avocado, chicken wings smoked on the fire and sauced with a field-made sriracha and lime juice based sauce, jambalaya with corn on the cob, s'more-sadillas...

I remember thinking at a couple points about some of you shroomerites, especially when I was on the beach friday with the lightning bugs and bats and lightning storm rolling in...sent ya tons of the good vibe!

sorry i havent updated lately, project is going incredibly well, i had an amazing first flush, about 6oz dried, big party on the 4th of july involving $1000 worth of questionable fireworks, big bon fire, and lots of shrooms

Sounds like things are going great for you!

I had a round of contaminated jars growing trich while I was in FL, but the small menace tray and the 2 palenque buckets are going well, casing them tonight.  They're all coir...it's too hot here for me to feel like messing with poo.  Hell, it's just barely cool enough in the basement to even have my projects going.  :thumbdown:

So on my end, it's case the ones I've got with MGMC, load up new jars and see if my menace syringes are contamed or if it was just a problem making the jars, and...uh...hmm...take a break from psychedelics for a week or two until these coir grows flush.

Now I need a damn PC so I can do some clones and more reliable spawn...some of my buddies I'm hooking up should decide to donate to the cause...cheap bastards :smirk:
