anyone finding any bluefoots??

i haven't been out yet but i am hoping to tomorrow. i live in northern michigan and since its been so cold lately there hasn't really been much of anything around here, except a morel or two. but its been warm and rainy for the past few days so we'll see. 
if you get lucky post up some habitat/mush pics!

I'm in the Northern part too and I haven't found anything close.

Blue Foot season begins in another week or so.
They are very rare!

I found them growing off a pile of horse shit that had been dumped on the lakeshore by the CPD.

He could be talking about Panaeolus subbalteatus.  They often have stem bases that turn blue and therefore are another species that goes by bluefoot. 

Another species that goes by bluefoot is Lepista saeva, the sign for it in whole foods says bluefoot.

Psilocybe stuntzii is also called bluefoot sometimes.

Be forwarned that it is only called that in certain regions since I just made that up.

We can call them lawn bluefoots.
