 HELP! MY HOLES ARE TOO SMALL!

I just received my inoculating syringes spores. Ive sterilized my jar already and etc. The thing now is that the holes I made for innoculation are too SMALL!!!! DAMMIT!!! WHAT DO I DO? HELP!!!!!

Make them bigger with a nail, a drill, whatever!! After you enlarge the hole, resterilize. It's quite simple.

Resterilize, ok. After I open my lid to the world, do I need to cover the substraite for the while Im punching bigger holes so I dont loose any water content?

Dont worry about contams or anything. Take off the lid, fix the holes and re-sterilize them. Dont worry bout the water content or anything....

or just use a sterilized nail and punch larger holes, I did this and had no contams in 24 jars. The substrate is sterile, the nail making the holes will be sterile, and the chance of contams through the small amount of time you will have it open will be minimal.

Give me a fuckin break you fuckin ignorant shit. What, do you think the hole fairy lives at the shroomery? Use a little commomn sense. Do you think we have some magic solution that defies the laws of nature? The only way to make the holes big enough is to widen them. Start new jars, who cares, this is trivial.

you dont really need to innoculate through holes... just slide the lid a bit in each of the four corners and quickly innoculate through the opening... if you have a vermiculite seal youll be fine.

Because its an uneccessary question. just one more that makes the important questions get lost in a flood of posts in a matter of a day. Im just sick of reading : whats this white fuzz? or: my incubation chamber is only 83 degrees, is that still OK? or: my jars just finished colonizing and im gonna be gone for a week, what should i do? or, well you get the point...
anyway, who were you talking to. i didnt know there was a buddy in this thread
