Thursday: Perpetual Groove/The Juan Maclean Zappa Plays Zappa Lotus Anything but the Disco Biscuits
Friday: The Wailers Snoop Dogg Keller Williams 311 Yonder/Modest Mouse - make that call later Chill at the campsite while Widespread Panic does their -ahem- shit, and psyche myself up for... PRIMUS!!! Bassnectar
Saturday: Secret Machines State Radio Gomez THE BLACK FUCKING KEYS Slightly Stoopid Campsite vs. DMB...I'm thinking campsite and joints to get ready for.. Sound Tribe Sector 9 Crystal Method
Sunday: Rodrigo Y Gabriela Trey Gordo and then I guess Phil Lesh cause I've never seen him
To tell you the honest truth there are about 5 bands I am DYING to see at Rothbury (Black Keys, STS9, Primus, Snoop Dogg, Crystal Method), and almost all the other bands take a backseat to spending time with my good friends.

awesome man, I´ll have to check out some of those you´re dying to see, I have no interest in seeing DMB honestly. I´ve never seen a lot of these guys except Modest Mouse.

The Black Keys are so good live...drummer is sick at playing blues beats and the guitarist is just a monster when he wails on that thing.

I just added Black Keys to my list for sure, I like, looks like it would be sweet live. And yeah, 311, I am most likely going to see them...I only took like 5 minutes to compile the tentative list.

whattt!!! you don't wanna see disco biscuitss????
if you're a fan of STS9, disco biscuits go about that same approach of music in their own weird way, and at rothbury with that crowd and energy buzzing like that it won't be something to miss!

I've seen the Disco Biscuits a few times, which was more than enough for me. When they get down to jamming, they are great...and when they open their mouths, I want to punch myself in the face. Honestly, when they sing, I think they are one of the worst groups of musicians making music I have ever heard. I'm not trying to be hyperbolic either, I really hate the Disco Biscuits when they sing. And the Bisco crowd gets on mah nerves.

damn, yeah first time i heard the biscuits, although i haven't seen them live, when they started singing i was very thrown off because i had listened to STS9 for a long time and I thought it would be all instrumental like them.
the music doesn't call for vocals really, but they tend to be down in their groove more than spittin' their verses.
