Microwave Sterilization of Casing Mix
    #8506962 - 06/10/08 01:00 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

Had trouble finding anything on the forum or the site or just the Internet on sterilizing casing mix in microwave. I found a lot on substrate and BRF jars, but not enough other than the suggestion of it being possible.
Has anyone done this? Can I be linked to any information?
I would assume to use covered plastic containers, and nuke for.. 10 minutes of so per say, gallon of casing mix.
Thanks everyone.
-Luke

well you don't want to sterilize casing mix, you want to pasteurize it.
