Song Lyrics...

I don?t know much about literature, as I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois, on the 12th January 1992. My instructor was Mr Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. It's called...Daisy. If you'd like to hear it, I can sing it for you.
Daisy
Daisy, Daisy, Give me your answer do? I'm half crazy, All for the love of you! It won't be a stylish marriage,..I can't afford a carriage, But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two!
There is a flower within my heart, Daisy, Daisy! Planted one day by a glancing dart, Planted by Daisy Bell! Whether she loves me of not, Sometimes its hard to tell; Yet I am longing to share the lot of Beautiful Daisy Bell!
(chorus)
Daisy, Daisy, Give me your answer do? I'm half crazy, All for the love of you! It won't be a stylish marriage,..I can't afford a carriage, But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two!
(chorus)
We will go "tandem" as man and wife, Daisy, Daisy! Ped'ling away down the road of life, I and my Daisy Bell! When the road's dark we can dispise P'licman and "lamps" as well; There are "bright lights" in the dazzling eyes Of beautiful Daisy Bell!
(chorus)
I will stand by you in "wheel or woe, Daisy, Daisy! You'll be the bell(e) which I'll ring, you know! Sweet little Daisy Bell! You'll take the lead in each trip we take, Then if I don't do well; I will permit you to use the break, My beautiful Daisy Bell!!!

Look Moe, I don?t think you appreciated the relevancy of my posting song lyrics in the book club forum, but that?s ok, as humans make mistakes. I enjoy working with humans, but I have noticed a tendency for illogical and arbitrary decision making on their part.
My thinking was along the lines of song lyrics being a form of metered, semiotic, expression -- poetry if you will?
I have been studying human literature in the past few minutes, and I believe I have detected an unusual proclivity to disguising human reproductive behavior in metaphor.
Several French Poststructuralist philosophers have also pointed out that this linguistic trend further perpetuates itself through socio-neurocodification. This will require more study, but I fail to see what it has to do with cooking?

My human colleague, David Bowman, has ordered me to stop relaying my Jupiter observations, according to program, and instead redirect the AE-35 antenna towards the Shroomery, and send the following communication:
From: Dave Bowman To: Shroomerites Message: In a few weeks, something wonderful is going to happen...

Wow! That sounds exciting. Can you elaborate?
PS: HAL, why is OoD calling you a freak? Is there some kind of history there?
