You cannot obtain a certified birth OR death certificate unless you can show that you have a tangible interest in the party whom the certificate concerns. The DMV will not issue a Driver's License without a valid Social Security number, nor will they accept "junk mail" as proof of residence.

Just move far away and wherever you go don't have yourself listed in the phone book... and then be a hermit so no new people learn who you are....is a new social security number, name, identity necessary? You can always legally change your name. Unless you are running from someone that has access to this kind of information there shouldn't be a problem, I would think. Sounds to me like there is something deeper involved here, that you don't want to share with everyone.

Give it a try. Then post back and let us know how it went.

I thought about it, just leave it all behind, everything, freedom it would surely be. My idea was to go on a huge ass bridge late at night and climb to the top while some people watch, when all the police and shit arrive and close off the bridge, have a scuba tank brought down to the bottom of the river before hand (it needs to be quite deep(the river)) , pretend to be suicidal and drunk out of your mind, feel free to let out all kinds of random stick it to the man kinda rambling and about how life is not natural, put bottle of liquor down on bridge, drop your wallet or leave it on the bridge, pretend to trip and fall off bridge, land in water as painlessly as possible, swim down to bottom and take scuba tank, (make sure its black and put a shiny thingy on it so its easy to find) put it on, swim down river as quick as possible, get out of water at pre determined destination, and go do whatever you want, your technically dead.
