Various questions, casing flush, LC and a mycobag

Greetings, I just finished harvesting my first flush on my first casing, casing = 2" substrate, ~5x7" container, very happy with the results, biggest shrooms ive grown so far, the biggest weighed 31g (not too impressive i know, but im happy with it :-)) anyhow alltogether the first flush weighed 391g, it was just a plain verm only casing with pf cakes as substrate.
is this good or kinda low? i immagine it could have done better cause there was some bare spots, and didnt look like the real impressive casing i see pics of, but im happy with the results
this is all besides the point
my question is should i do anything with the casing between flushes? theres plenty of small pins on it ready to go, theres spots uneven on the verm later from picking shrooms, should i just let er go and grow or is there anything i can do to optomize the next flush
(i just modified the title to include the questions in the posts below)

400 grams for a 2" sub (and your first casing) is pretty damned good man. If I remember correctly you beat my first casing.
I would suggest dunk and patch.

I usually dunk them in whatever container they're in. Put something on top to weigh it down. Add water until it is submerged. I always go for 4 - 6 hours. Drain it well and patch.

okay also i inoculated this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=250250942184
myco-like manure/grain bag monday (so 5 days ago) still not seeing anything growing, i inoculated 15ml, 5ml from a B+ syringe from lil shop, and 10ml from a syringe i made, the one i made was loaded with spores so much the syringe was dark purple liquid
surely something must be taking place right? i know patience right, but why dont i see anything? i even squirted some on the very top of the stuff in the bag so i would know when its colonizing
also i have an LC http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=260244167731
inoculated with 5ml lil shop of spores B+
i saw white stuff floating on the bottom after the first 24 hours, tho i discussed it and was told it was most likely too soon to be mycelium growth
anyhow its my first LC and i forgot to release the vaccume with another syringe, so it was de-pressurized for 3 days, would this cause harm? anyhow then i realeased the vaccume since then
im not seeing much more growth(?) in there, not sure if its the same amount or perhaps just a little bit more, it looks like more but i cant really tell, its a thin layer on the bottom of the LC
should there be more in 5 days ?

You could probably get away with 8...
Man, good luck on your mycobag. I got mine from the #1 bag supplier and all but one went to shit. The one that is doing good took forever. Took like 3 weeks to show signs and the same spores showed signs on cakes in 48 hours. If you have some viable LC, they work great. I don't fuck with LC so I won't be buying any more bags. Good luck on yours though.

well i dunked my casing over night but it cracked in half when i was draining it, poor thing, this prolly set me back a bit aye? also the bottom verm layer washed away so theres spaces on the bottom corners that are empty air
implications?

It'll be ok, just drain it well so that it isn't waterlogged.

Yeah... and no need to patch... it will only suffocate the substrate where your pins are beginning to form for the second flush, The casing layer has already done its job.
