Vitamin etc questions

Just got a couple questions on Vitamins and all.
I currently take a Centrum complete once a day and 2 1000mg combined Omega
3,6,9 capsules. I went to the pharmacy yesterday and asked what I can take daily to boost immune system function and all and the pharmacist told me to take Vitamin C daily. 500mg's or 1000mg capsules.
Im wondering if this is safe to take along with my Centrum? Im thinking it's ok and good for you since the Centrum only has 90mg's of Vitamin C.
I also wanna start taking udol's (SP) Oil but I wanna know if that to is safe to take with the others?

A lie that has successfully infiltrated many of the Western governments. This lie is Christianity, and it must be fought in every way, shape and form. Burn the churches and kill the priests. The abomination that is Christianity must be wiped from this Earth.

My understanding of "C" is that if you take more than your body can use, the rest goes away with your urine. I believe the figure is 100-500mg of vitamin C per day, that's the most that can be utilized...presumably the figure covers the body weight range.
I thought of something else-
I take a generic vitamin supplement about 3-4 times per week since I forget sometimes.
But two or three times, I've been out in the woods with some folks who distribute little "fancy" packets of vitamins to everyone with breakfast.
It could be the woods, the activity level, but those vitamins "seem to make me feel better."
If you have the cash to burn, "premium" vitamin supplements might be the way to go. Of course my claim is totally unverifiable. I do know that the fancy vitamins give me neon pee and a niacin flush within an hour or two (2 max) of taking them, so they must be very readily absorbable.

Your best bet when taking vitamins is to take a powdered form that is water soluble. Most pills that we humans take are found by the nice guys in the sewage treatment plants, partially digested, meaning that you are not getting all of the vitamins in that pill and are basically wasting your time and money. There is one company that I know of that offers a powdered form that is for sure water soluble, reliv. Although you will not find it in stores, you have to find a distributer in your area, I think you might be able to find them on the website (google it).

An herbal tea or extract of echinacea and goldenseal is great for the immune system. Just being healthy in general is what really keeps it good. Proper pH and intestinal flora are critical. Too much stress can also wreck havoc. A big part of it is mental.
As for your vitamin question, vitamins blow. Unless they are liquid or powder, they won't be readily absorbed. Also keep in mind that many of the cheap brands (including centrum) use synthetic vitamins. These might very well do more harm then good and can not be properly utilized by your body. My advice is to just eat vitamin rich food. Think of your food as a medicine, in reality it is.
