follow the pf methed intill the cake is covered with micilen break it up and put it in a coffe filter and stick in center of toilet paper roll then bary in 2 inches of compost and wait

Check out TMC, the mushroom cultivator by Paul Stamets and Jeff Chilton, It has a chapter that has exactly what you want and need to know.

the best outdoor tec ive used yet is the one listed on "thehawkseye.com".I have had a 90 percent sucess ratio with it,and would definently recomend it to beginners,due to its ease of use.

Yep, do as Hippie3 tells you. The HawksEye tech involves building to much stuff -outdoor is MUCH easier than indoor, it is almost to easy in a way :smile:

i wasnt talking about building anything.I was talking about digging a shallow hole(4-6)inches deep,adding a 1 inch layer of perlite,then a layer of casing mix or verm,whichever u prefer.then add your crumbled or sliced colonized cake,and covering with another layer of casing mix.finally,put a clear plastic container over it,seal around the edges of the container with dirt,and presto!instant greenhouse.

Thanks a whole lot, I am gonna follow the litle easy to make greenhouse i just have 2 questions. Does this work with all shrooms, should is theyre any kind of outdoor strain you recomend. Im looking for Potentcy and Easy to grow, Not so much how big or how many grow.

What is a casing mix. Do they sell it, or do I actually have to mix things. If so what. and can i use another layer of vermiculite to cover it. How much of the casing mix or vermiculte do i put after i have the sliced cake. thanks alot
