too bad they only came out with two good cds.
their remix cd was pretty good.. not the emotive one, but the one where people did remixes of thirteenth step and mer de noms.
i like the more than tool.. howerdel is a badass.

yes sir howerdale is badass. mer de noms will always be the best in my book, but i highly enjoyed thirteenth step and emotive as well.

Billy is not a badass at Halo 3, I kicked his ass on xbox live earlier today But yeah, his work is amazing. His music and maynards vocals create an enchanting synergy

the last apc show i saw (few years ago) was the most powerful performance i can remember... they played beautifully, i remember the outro to thePackage and Gravity giving me goosebumps all over,, it was electrifying. very very tight group.
i liked Mer De Noms alot more than 13th step, though i think 'Vanishing' is probably my favorite piece by them. that song has a very elusive feeling to it. actually Magedelena might be my favorite... sometimes, i dont know. APC rocks.
oh yea, 3 Libra's(All Main Courses Mix) on that remix album is amazing. so good. it was by Massive Attack I believe.

Have you checked out Howerdel's solo cd (well with APC drummer and debo, maynards son on cello) under Ashes Divide? Good stuff, defiantly has the APC feel and sorta similar vocals. Erm nevermind, no one sounds like maynard but good nonetheless. Kinda hit or miss on the songs tho.

Ten years ago this phrase would have went "i got the ashes divide cd then tossed it out the window" lol. ahh technology
I thought the cd was okay, nothing spectacular though. I think alot of apc are just used to the energy created by A perfect circle, and are dissapointed when they dont find it as much in ashes divide

LoL, and I still ask when the new _______ ALBUM is coming out....!? I still have a stack of rock and heavy metal albums that go up to my mid thigh....! The one thing I miss is the larger version of a band's artwork.... ALBUM ARTWORK ---> cd artwork

Not sure that would translate well.... The lenses would be pretty big and bulky, and you wouldn't want to leave it ear a window that lets the sun shine in (for fear of fires)....!

Translation: TOOL is greater than A Perfect Circle....
I think both bands have some "jem" material....

I like them both, but imo they dont compare; the music is far too different. But I do like tool much better though, its far more inspirational.

Tool is more serious, occult, masculine, left-brained. APC is emotional, feminine right-brained.

Get it back for a split second there. It's Devo Maynard's son and Perfect Circle. Sure it's poppy but some songs rock like
Denial Awaits and A Wish and Enemies and a few others
You either like that sound or you don't.
