Just a quick post to wholeheartedly recommend "Astronomy Cast" with Frazier Cain and DR. Pamela Gay.

I think it's going on two years and the entire archive is available on iTunes.

Probably the most informative astronomical series that I've ever heard of. They cover a different topic each week and have done everything from series on the planets to discussions of current astronomical methods to string theory to grav waves and everything in between.

If you have an MP3 player and are in any way interested in astronomy, you should check this out. I am pretty knowledgeable about almost every subject they cover, but I have never listened to a show where 75% of the information given out was not something that I hadn't heard before.

Great show and you can find a link here.

If it is life that you feel you are missing I can tell you where to find it.  In the law courts, in business, in government.  There is nothing occurring in the streets. Nothing but a dumbshow composed of the helpless and the impotent.    -Cormac MacCarthy
