A couple months ago, I had a vase with some potting soil, intended for replanting my rosemary. I kinda forgot it among the other vases, and a chili plant got her way with the vase and sprouted there. Eventually it produced very dark purple chilies that matured to a bright red, and I was wondering if any of you could ID the thing.

It's a bit on the strong side, somewhat akin to malagueta. From the pictures I've seen around, they look a bit more like tabasco than cayenne though.
Either way they taste great! thank you for your attention.
